On May 6th, just after 16:00 our datacenter's switch servicing 2 of our servers failed.
The servers affected are:
dizzy.ecohosting.com: with IP range of 174.142.119.132 to 174.142.119.254
iis.ecohosting.com: all site using ASP and .NET services on our Windows server
An initial inquiry by our datacenter pointed to the EcoHosting switch as the problem. We quickly presented ourselves at the datacenter to find out the problem was actually with the datacenter's switch. They began troubleshooting the problem and resolved the issue relatively quickly. By 18:00 the internet connection to our servers was restored.
If there is anything further to update we will report it here. At this moment we still do not have an explanation as the exact nature of the failure.
We apologize for the downtime and any inconvenience this may have caused.
