On Nov. 27 we experienced a mount failure of one of our external NAS drives on brubeck.ecohosting.com. As a consequence this caused the backups to be written to the main drive which quickly filled and thus prevented the servers services from functioning properly. Just before 4:00 AM certain services requiring temporary operating space began to fail.
The introduction of the NAS over 1 week ago was intended to add an additional layer of backup redundancy. We are investigating why this occurred. We will also be looking at alternate implementations of the NAS so as to avoid this from occurring again.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

**UPDATE: A permanent solution has been implemented to avoid this from happenning in the future.
